Gaming Floor

Grosvenor Casino Merchant City is a large venue in the heart of Glasgow that occupies two floors.

The ground floor is home to reception, the sports bar, and the new Vegas gaming zone. There is also a dedicated slots area just to the right of reception that was installed after the acquisition of their second gaming license. This allowed for 20 further slots to be installed into the casino bringing the overall total to 40.

The large spiral staircase in the centre of the building leads to the basement level where most of the gaming action takes place. Their six tables of American Roulette are joined by eight tables that offer Blackjack and Three Card Poker. You will also be able to play Mah Jong, shoot dice at their Craps table and spin the Big Six Wheel.

It is always worth contacting the casino directly to confirm table limits, however at the time of our visit up to £400 could be placed straight up on American Roulette, up to £2000 per box on Blackjack and a maximum Ante of £400 could be placed on Three Card Poker.

When it comes to slots you are quite literally spoilt for choice. Not only are there 40 machines to play on but you can try your luck at winning some gigantic prizes thanks to the Power Link and Fort Knox progressive jackpots. They also have brand new VIP machines where you can sit in luxury whilst attempting to scoop the £12,000 jackpot.

Their 28″ HD electronic roulette terminals widen your gaming options even further. Choose to play against the live tables or the automated wheel then place bets from as little as 10p a spin by tapping on the screen.

Poker

Poker enthusiasts will find a total of 8 tables in the dedicated poker room. The latest poker schedule along with full details on their daily cash games can be found on the Poker Live App or on their Merchant City Poker Facebook page.

Alternatively, why not give online poker a try? Getting started with your no deposit bonus cash is 100% risk-free, plus all of our recommended online casinos are regulated by the UK Gambling Commision so you know you are in safe hands.

Bar & Restaurant

Grosvenor Casino Glasgow boasts two bars (one on each floor) so you will not have to travel far from your table to get a drink.

Both serve a wide selection of spirits, beers, wines, cocktails and snacks, however, the bar on the main gaming floor has a much more relaxed feel to it, whilst the sports bar on the boasts the largest HD plasma screen in Scotland making it the perfect choice to watch all of the top sporting events day or night.

The restaurant offers a range of contemporary dishes which are served in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Menu highlights include mouthwatering steaks from their signature grill range plus they have just added some tasty new dishes from partners Absurd Bird, Field & Fin, Holy Cow and Barrel & Stone.

Promotions, Events & Entertainment

As previously mentioned sports fans can enjoy the biggest events on the largest plasma screen in Scotland over at the sports bar! There are also more than 20 HD TVs dotted around the casino, so you can keep tabs on the latest score at all times.

Whilst they are not regular occurrences, the venue is known for hosting the odd tribute show every so often. So, if you enjoy live music make sure you keep your eyes peeled on their website or social media pages to ensure that you don’t miss the next performance.

Promotions at the Merchant City Casino tend to vary on a monthly basis, so again it is best to look on the official website or their Facebook page to keep up with all of the latest deals.

Don’t forget you can collect and spend points on your reward card every time you visit any Grosvenor casino across the UK. You can also use your card to collect points when you play online too! Click here to find out more.

If you decide to bring the car you can park for free at the NCP Glasshouse. Just remember to get your ticket validated by a member of staff at the casino.

Dress Code, Membership & ID

The dress code is smart casual. No hats, ripped jeans, or sportswear. You will need to become a member of the casino before using any of their facilities. Joining is totally free, however, you will need to show a valid form of ID such as a driving license or passport to complete the sign-up process.
