Bar & Restaurant
Genting Nottingham is not the largest casino and therefore as a result of dedicating most of its space to the primary focus of gaming, there is not enough room for a restaurant. That’s not to say you will go hungry though as the late bar offers the popular All Day menu that can be found in many of the chain’s locations across the country.
The menu provides a choice of light bites and bar snacks such as Club Sandwiches, Nachos, and Southern Fried Chicken Strips with a selection of Curries, Pizza, Burgers and more.
Of course, the well-stocked bar also offers an extensive range of beers, wines, spirits, champagne, and mouth-watering cocktails making it the perfect place to socialise and relax during your visit.
The bar area also serves as a lounge, and sports fans will be pleased to hear that they have installed a 10 foot HD projector as well as a gigantic 70-inch screen that broadcast the latest from Sky Sports, BT Sport and Box Nation.
Promotions, Events & Entertainment
There are always lots of promotions and offers to take advantage of at Genting casinos, and the Nottingham location is certainly no different. In addition to seasonal and monthly promos that you can find out about either online or in the club, there are ongoing offers such as 2 for 1 cocktails all day Sunday through Thursday, or a beer and a burger for just £5!
Genting has even teamed up with The Lost City Adventure Golf that is located right next door to create a fantastic package that includes 18 holes of adventure golf, a welcome drink at the casino, your own learn to play session and a £20 spin to win voucher all for just £21.99!
Don’t forget to pick up and use your Genting Rewards Card in order to collect points when you play games or buy drinks and food. The points soon mount up and you will be able to claim rewards such as free drinks and bets so it’s a win-win!
Parking & Transport
Casino customers can use the Europarks car park at the fixed rate of £3 if you visit between 6:30 pm and 6:30 am.
Alternatively, you can use any of the numerous bus routes that stop directly outside the Cornerhouse Complex including the Centrelink, Rainbow One, Turquoise Line 80, and Navy Line 4.
The NET Tram is another transport option that serves Hucknall, Clifton South, and Phoenix Park. You can hop on and off at the Royal Centre Tram stop which is just a 3-minute walk away from the casino.
Dress Code, Membership & ID
The dress code is smart and casual. There is no need to sign up for a membership in order to play although we do suggest picking up a Reward Card in order to benefit from the loyalty program. Photo ID will only be needed if you appear to be under the age of 21 or if you wish to become a member.
The casino itself is located inside the Cornerhouse Complex which is packed full of exciting things to see and do all under the one roof. Watch the latest films in one of 14 screens at Cineworld cinema or the IMAX theatre, play mini golf, go bowling, treat yourself to a beauty treatment, or enjoy the nightlife at Pom Pom, Revolution or the Slug and Lettuce.
There is no shortage of dining options either with restaurants including Bella Italia, Chiquito, Nando’s, TGI Fridays, Wagamama and more!
Promos & Events
Whilst Genting Nottingham do not house the largest gaming floor, they do offer all of the classic games and a number of exciting side bets. The addition of poker cash games that are held once a week is better than nothing but it would be great to see extra games played on additional nights.
It has to be said that the staff at the casino go out of their way to make you feel welcome and even though there is no restaurant the Graze & Play menu should satisfy most appetites. If you do fancy a sit-down meal just visit one of the many restaurants held within the busy entertainment complex of The Cornerhouse.
