Gaming Floor

The Golden Horseshoe benefitted from a £1.5m refurbishment in 2017 and now has a well laid out gaming floor which maximises the relatively small floor space when compared to some of London’s larger casinos.

The electronic area which is located just past reception is home to six roulette terminals and twenty state of the art slots that include the Super V+ Gaminator machines and the £20,000 progressive Fort Knox.

The main gambling floor is where you will be able to play roulette one of eight tables in the centre of the room. A further 30 electronic terminals are connected to the live tables with 4 large screens overhead that display a live feed of the action.

You will also find the Blackjack and Three Card Poker tables around the outside of the room whilst games of poker take place in a more secluded area over on the far left-hand side.

The casino offers learn to play sessions plus if you prefer to game in private there is a small room that can be hired out for Roulette, 3 Card Poker, and Blackjack.

Poker

There are 5 poker tables that provide great value cash games 24 hours a day. You can view the current games by downloading the free Poker Live App from App Store or Google Play.

There are unfortunately no tournaments held at this venue so if tournaments are more your thing you might want to hop on the tube and head to one of London’s other poker rooms. Grosvenor’s sister site The Victoria is a great choice with an entire floor dedicated to poker!

Bar, Restaurant & Entertainment

The bar, lounge and restaurant are situated on the right-hand side and overlook the entire gaming floor.

The restaurant is open from 7 pm -until 2 am every day and offers a choice of succulent steaks, fresh salads, burgers, and favourites such as Persian spiced half chicken and crispy pork noodles.

If you fancy a bite to eat when the restaurant is closed just ask for the bar menu. Aside from the great selection of wines, cocktails and beer there is a great selection of food to pick from including full English breakfasts, fish and chips, 8oz rump steak, and a range of sandwiches.

Sports fans will enjoy the live international sporting coverage on Sky with a drink and a cold one in the lounge.

The Golden Horseshoe like to celebrate all of the big occasions on the calendar such as Christmas, Halloween, and Valentines in style with special parties and meals.

They also like to celebrate the end of each month with a party that includes live music, drink, and a free £5 bet. Details of all upcoming live events and performances are posted on the events tab on the casino’s Facebook page.

Parking & Transport

The Circle and District line serves Bayswater tube station which is literally next door to the casino. The Central line subway is also close by just a 2-minute walk away at Queensway station by Kensington Gardens.

Whilst there is no parking at the casino there are 277 spaces at Q – Park Queensway. The car park is open 24 hours a day. Pricing can be found on their website.

Dress Code, Membership & ID

The dress code is smart casual. Membership to the Golden Horseshoe is required. Signing up is free but you must be 18 years old or over in order to enter.
