Refurbished in 2013, Genting Casino Renshaw Street offers a range of decent games in a modern, relaxed and friendly environment.
The gaming floor consists of five American Roulette tables, three Blackjack tables, three Baccarat and a single table of Three Card Poker.
In terms of stakes, the minimums and maximums depend on which table you visit.
Bets on American Roulette vary from as little as 50p up to a maximum of £100. The Blackjack tables have stakes ranging from £2 – £500 (plus the big cash Blackjack Aces side bet is just £1), whilst the Three Card Poker tables have minimums of £2 and maximums of £50. Finally, the three Baccarat tables offer the highest stakes, £5 minimum and £3000 maximum.
The Liverpool based casino boasts £10,000 jackpot slots along with 16 Sabre Multi-Win Roulette terminals. The roulette terminals are equipped with 26-inch screens and are hooked up to both the auto wheel and live tables. They also feature electronic versions of Baccarat and 3-5 multi-win poker.
For even more excitement whilst you are playing be sure to take a seat at one of the Power Link slots. These machines feature 3 progressive jackpots which can all be won from the minimum bet!
Many Genting Casino’s offer Mah Jong and Renshaw Street is certainly no different. In fact, it goes above and beyond with a dedicated 32 seat Mah Jong room. Sets are available to hire throughout the day for a returnable £5 deposit.
Poker fans are going to be disappointed as there are no poker tables at the casino. This means no cash games or tournaments, the only variant playable here is 3 Card Poker. In place of the poker room, players will find a dedicated Mah Jong room with seating for 32 players.
If its poker you are looking for you may want to head Genting Casino Queen Square which is just half a mile away.
Bar & Restaurant
A new addition to the casino as part of the refurbishment is the Hou Mei restaurant which serves authentic Chinese dishes Sunday through Thursday. Two courses only cost £6 which is fantastic value.
The only downside is the restaurant has limited open hours which are 10 pm to 1:45 am so you might end up having to pick up a snack from the Graze and Play menu at the Fahrenheit Bar before tucking into your main course later in the evening.
Talking of the bar, it is located close enough to the action that you can quickly grab a drink, but far enough away that you can take a complete break from gambling if you wish.
They have a wide range of beers, wines, spirits and champagne, plus as previously mentioned you can enjoy snacks from the Graze and Play menu such as curries, burgers, pizza and pasta which are available from midday until 5 am.
Promotions, Events & Entertainment
If you have checked out the Facebook page above you will already have noticed that sporting events are the main side attractions at Genting Casino Renshaw Street. They have multiple screens and comfy seating around the bar area, plus there are 7 screens on the walls of the gaming floor so you can keep an eye on the action whilst you play.
In order to stay up to date with the latest offers which usually involve special deals at the bar and restaurant, we suggest you check out the “What’s On” tab on their official website. It is also worth clicking on the Genting Rewards tab whilst you are there which will ensure you really get the most out of every visit.
Parking & Transport
The casino has its own small car park which provides free parking exclusively for customers. They have 16 spaces in total and the car park is accessible via Benson Street.
In terms of public transport, the 82 and TX1A buses stop directly outside the venue. In addition, all 3 of Liverpool’s main train stations (James Street, Lime Street and Liverpool Central) are within 1 mile of the casino, the closest being Liverpool Central which is less than a 5-minute walk from the main entrance.

Unfortunately the restaurant might not be the ideal place to take your other half for a meal out (unless you enjoy eating at close to midnight), however, their stunning late bar has quickly become a great addition to the cities night scene and is the perfect place to relax, socialise or watch live sport in a friendly and modern environment.
