Gaming Floor
If you have seen pictures or driven past Genting Casino Fountain Park you may be pleasantly surprised to find out that the gaming floor is a little more spacious that exterior suggests. This is because the action takes place in the basement which stretches under other nearby shops such as Nando’s.
The usual selection of table games are on offer here, which have neatly been arranged in two long lines down the length of the gaming floor. In total there are 14 tables, 6 American Roulette (£1 – £200), 3 Blackjack (£5 – £1,000), 3-5 Multiwin poker (£2 – £200) and 3 Baccarat tables (£5 – £2,000).
If you wish to play for higher stakes then feel free to speak to a member of staff who will do their best to meet your requirements.
Gamblers who prefer the more modern approach will be able to play on a selection of 20 slot machines, most of which have multiple games that you choose from. Jackpots reach up to an incredible £20,000 from a minimum bet on the IGT Fort Knox Progressive, plus the Novomatic Power Link Progressive also has 3 jackpots up for grabs that can also all be won from the minimum bet!
Alternatively, you can take a seat at one of the Sabre HD betting terminals and enjoy electronic roulette from as little as 10p a spin. These machines also offer Baccarat and 3-5 Multi-Win Poker from as little as £1. Both of which are dealt live and broadcast straight to your screen from Genting International Casino in Birmingham.
Poker
If poker is more your thing you will be pleased to hear that Genting Casino Fountainpark guarantees a minimum of £10,000 each and every week. This is the biggest weekly guarantee of any casino in Scotland!
They host a variety of poker tournaments 7 days a week, with the registration fee set at just £5 for regular tournaments. If you register before 8 pm you will receive an early bird bonus of 3000 extra chips.
Cash games are also played daily from 7 pm. The rake is 5% and is capped at a maximum of £5 per hand.
For the current poker schedule feel free to visit the official website or check out their dedicated card room pages on Facebook or Twitter.
Bar & Restaurant
The award-winning Fahrenheit branded restaurant is open from 7 pm until 2 am daily. Diners can select individually priced dishes from the brand new a la carte menu, or, for the best value, you can choose two or three courses from the fantastic midweek menu for £18.95 or £22.95 respectively. Prices include your meal, a free bar drink and a £5 bet! Please note that the midweek menu is only available Sunday – Thursday.
If you don’t fancy a meal but would like a break from the gaming action why not visit the Fahrenheit bar? It is located just across from the main tables so you can easily purchase a drink, order a tasty snack from the bar menu to replenish your energy in between games, or just relax in the adjacent lounge area whilst watching the live sport on the big screens.
Promotions, Events & Entertainment
Genting Fountain Park is never short of promotions, special deals, and events. They host regular party nights, have frequent offers on their food and drink, plus they show all of your favourite sports including Football, Boxing, Rugby, F1 and MMA on the 90″ HD TV.
It is also worth highlighting the Genting Nights package which is perfect for hen and stag nights. This package includes a 3-course meal, £5 bet, bar drink and a learn to play session at a private table for just £24.95 per person.
If you are planning a visit be sure to check out the “What’s On” tab on their website or one of their social media channels before you arrive in order to ensure that you don’t miss out on any special deals!
Parking & Transport
The casino is located within the Fountain Park entertainment complex which is also home to Tenpin Fountain Park, Pizza Hut, Nando’s, Chiquito and more! You can park for free in the shared multi-storey car park which is accessed from Dundee Street.
There are plenty of good public transport links to the venue too. Bus services 1, 34, 35 and N34 stop less than 200 meters away on Dundee street, plus routes 22, 30, N22, N30, X25 and X44 stop just behind the cinema on W Approach Road.
Dress Code, Membership & ID
Smart casual is the general dress code. Entry is free and there is no need to become a member in order to play.
It is certainly worth registering though as a free membership will grant access to exclusive promotions and offers. Photo ID is only required if you appear under the age of 25 or wish to register as a member.
