Bar & Restaurant
Soul Bar Aberdeen has an excellent reputation and is still operational as a stand-alone venue from the closed casino.
The main bar located on the mezzanine floor features a welcoming atmosphere, dimmed lighting, good music, and fantastic drinks. You can also enjoy a drink at the Back Bar which is a bright and airy modern conservatory, or in the summer months make use of the outdoor seating in the courtyard.
Soul Casino’s menu is available 7 days a week. It has to be said the choices are quite limited, however, the options that are available should suit most tastes. All main courses are priced at £9.95 with options including Club Sandwiches, New York Chicken Burger, Scampi and Soul’s very own Full Casino Breakfast.
Gaming Floor
Soul Casino Aberdeen has arguably the most unique setting of any casino in the UK. This is because the gaming floor and all of the facilities are housed in a converted church, complete with its original features including the stained glass windows, impressive archways and the church organ.
The luxurious venue offers gamblers the chance to test their luck on classic table games such as Blackjack, American Roulette and Three Card Poker.
If you fancy a more private gaming experience you can play Touch Bet roulette. These terminals allow you to sit away from the hustle and bustle of the main floor at your own roulette station and place bets by simply tapping the screen. The machines are linked to two live tables so you can choose to play against one of the house dealers or the automated the wheel.
They also have a selection of 12 slot machines to play on too, although Soul Casino prefers to call them “bandits”. You can play from as little as 1p a spin, whilst the maximum jackpot is £4000 on all of the machines.
If you’re new to gambling you might want to check out one of their “Learn to Play” packages. Prices start from just £10 per person and include tuition on a private table plus a drink on arrival.
Poker
Poker fans will be disappointed as Soul Aberdeen do not offer any tournaments or cash games here. The only poker you will find is the Three Card variety.
If it’s poker you are searching for then online poker is a great option which provides you with the ability to play your favorite games anywhere at any time. Get started today and play 100% risk-free using one of our fantastic offers below.
Promotions, Events & Entertainment
Soul Casino lists all of the current and upcoming promotions on their official website. Current promos include “Bandit Bonanza” every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday where you will receive up to £100 based on the money you wagered and lost between 5 pm and midnight.
You can also enjoy performances by live musicians on certain evenings, plus there is a live DJ at the weekend from 9:30 pm.
Their rewarding membership scheme provides the ability to collect points whenever you purchase a meal, drinks or play games. Collected points can then be spent on food, drink or free bets.
Speaking of points, you can earn triple or double points at certain times of the week which significantly increases the speed at which you can redeem your points for a reward. Triple points are awarded every Tuesday and Thursday between 2 pm and 8 pm, as well as on Sundays between 7 pm and 11 pm. Double points are awarded every Monday and Wednesday between 2 pm and 8 pm.
Parking & Transport
Soul Casino is located in Aberdeen’s West End just off Union Street. There is very little on street parking in the area so the best place to park at the IQ car park on Hardgate which is less than a 5-minute walk from the casino.
In terms of public transport, all of the major bus services stop just around the corner on Union Street, plus Aberdeen train station is under half a mile away.
Dress Code, Membership & ID
The dress code is smart casual. Jeans and trainers are accepted, but no sportswear, vest tops, hats or caps.
You must be a member in order to gain entry to the casino. Membership is completely free, simply fill in the registration form in advance online or register when you arrive at the reception. Photographic ID will be required on your first visit.

Summary
Situated in a transformed Church, Soul Casino is one of Aberdeen's most unique venues. Inside you will be able to play traditional table games such as Blackjack and Three Card Poker, plus they have a decent choice of slots and Touch Bet Roulette.
Their highly rated Soul Bar is also well worth popping into for a drink even if you have no intention of gambling.
The only reason their overall score isn't much higher is due to their lack of poker tournaments and cash games. Still, don't let that put you off as this casino is certainly a site that is well worth visiting.
