The recent £2.3 million refurbishment at Grosvenor Casino Portsmouth has resulted in a brand new gaming area being added to the existing floor.

Now, not only can members enjoy traditional casino games such as Blackjack, Roulette, and Three Card Poker across 16 tables, but they also offer the chance to spin on the Big Six Wheel and at the Bucket Dice table.

30 electronic roulette terminals and an ATM flank the live tables, plus there are an additional 10 terminals up by the bar which means you can watch live sport whilst playing at the same time. Slot fans can spin for the chance to win £10,000 jackpots in the dedicated arcade which is located by the bar. Popular titles include Pharaohs Gold, Fort Knox, Wolf Run, and Cleopatra.

Poker

In the back left-hand corner of the main floor, you will find Grosvenor Casino Portsmouth’s dedicated 100 seater poker room. Tournaments are hosted every Wednesday – Sunday whilst cash games are played at 5 tables daily between the hours of 7 pm and 7 am.

Bar, Restaurant & Entertainment

The gaming area was not the only recipient of upgrades during the refurbishment. Large sums of money were also spent on the comfy sports lounge and show bar which is a large private room that has space to seat over 100 guests.

It has its own stage, dance floor, and disco lights making it a fantastic place to enjoy great events and live performances up close to some of the UK’s best entertainers. Not only that it is also the ideal location to hire out for private parties or corporate events.

Fine dining can be enjoyed in the 45 seater Grosvenor Grill restaurant that serves some of the best grilled dishes in the surrounding area. There’s also an all-day dining menu that serves burgers, paninis, sandwiches and other tasty snacks throughout the day plus a bar that serves all of your favourite drinks.

Parking & Transport

The casino offers a 24-hour valet service plus self-parking is available in the Gunwharf Quays centre. You can even get your ticket refunded if you park between 6 pm – 6 am.

Other transport links include buses, trains from Portsmouth Harbour station, and ferries.

The dress code is smart casual. No hats or sunglasses are allowed. Photo ID is required on your first visit in order to set up your membership which is free.
