Bar & Restaurant

Take a short break from the tables over at The Fahrenheit bar which is open daily from 12 pm – 5 am. Not only can you enjoy a wide selection of drinks here, but this is where the live stage entertainment takes place every weekend too.

All upcoming performances can be viewed on the casino’s events calendar. If you are a sports fan you can also enjoy the live action on HD screens in both the bar and the lounge area.

When it comes to restaurants there are two choices. The Elements restaurant is open from 7 pm – 11:30 pm Monday to Friday and from 1 pm – 11:30 pm on Sunday.

Bookings are advised. The À la carte menu includes smoked haddock, sea bass fillets, duck breast, 9oz Rib-eye steak. Sunday Roast costs £15.99 per person for 3 courses and is available all day. Private dining is available on request.

The Strip Bistro is the laid-back alternative and is open 7 days a week from 12 pm – 2 am. The menu offers a great selection of starters, pasta dishes, pizza, club favourites, and light bites and desserts all for an affordable price.

Parking & Transport

There is a parking lot next to the casino or you can use the 9, 509 or 814 bus services which stop nearby. The closest train station is Southend East which is just under a mile away.

Dress Code, Membership & ID

There is a smart casual dress code so no sportswear or baseball caps etc. Membership is not required to play but all guest must be over 18. You can join the loyalty program and earn reward points that can later be redeemed to play the games of your choice or to purchase food and drink. Bring ID with you if you look under the age of 21.

What’s Nearby?

Besides housing the Rendezvous Casino the Kursaal is also home to MFA bowling, a laser tag arena, and an arcade. The Sea Life Adventure is worth a visit if you have a spare couple of hours. The aquarium is located just down the road which and features a walk-through glass tunnel filled with sharks and rays.
