Opening Times

Gaming Floor

Genting Torquay took over the premises of the former Mint Casino back in 2013. The main gaming floor features a total of 10 classic games positioned in the centre of the room. Four tables of American Roulette and three Blackjack tables are joined by single tables of Baccarat, Three Card Poker and Crazy 4 Card Poker.

Stakes range from £1 – £500 on Roulette and £5 – £1000 on Baccarat. A full list of the minimum and maximum stakes can be found on the official site and should suit most budgets, however, higher maximums are available upon request.

Surrounding the walls of the main floor underneath the balcony area you will find 14 Sabre electronic roulette terminals that accept bets of 25p up to £100. These machines are complemented by a number of modern multi-game slots that are packed with favourites such as Pharaohs Fortune, Cleopatra, Lord of the Ocean and Book of Ra. The majority of these slots provide the opportunity to play for jackpots of up to £10,000.

Poker

Poker takes place above the main floor on the balcony. Texas Hold’Em tournaments are held 4 nights a week plus Texas Hold’Em and Omaha cash games are available every night.

Poker tournaments run most evenings with guaranteed prize pools up to £35,000. If you register for any of the tournaments in advance you receive 1000 extra chips (500 extra on Wednesdays). A poker league also runs every month.

If you do not yet know how to play Poker we suggest visiting the casino on a Wednesday night from 7:30 pm where the helpful dealers will explain the rules and teach you the basic gameplay.

Bar & Restaurant

The Bar & Grill restaurant is located on the first floor and is open from 5 pm – 1 am on Friday and Saturday and from 5 pm – 11 pm Sunday to Tuesday. The Meal deal menu at the time of writing features two courses for £11.95 or you can opt for all three courses for just £14.95.

The menu has been designed to cater to everyone’s tastes with options that include gammon steak, beef burgers, hand beer battered cod and chicken Forestiere.

If you prefer a lighter snack there are plenty of options to choose from on the bar menu which is available at any time during the opening hours. The new sports lounge late bar also serves a wide selection of refreshing drinks plus you will be able to watch all of the latest action from around the globe on both BT and Sky Sports on the big screen.

Genting Casino Torquay offers live entertainment, prize draws and competitions throughout the year. They also frequently have a number of special offers to make the most of such as Buy One Get One Free on cocktails. Visiting the casino is an even more enjoyable experience when you join the Genting Reward scheme. Becoming a member is free and means you will be able to collect points on everything that you play and buy inside the casino. Collected points can then be redeemed on electronic gaming, table bets, or even food and drink.

Parking & Transport

You can park for free in the casino’s own dedicated car park. There is a sheltered bus stop just outside the main doors, or if you are coming from further afield you can the CrossCountry or GWR train services into Torquay train station which is just under a mile away.

Dress Code, Membership & ID

The dress code is smart and casual. Genting Casino Torquay is free to enter and you can become a member if you wish. A driving license or a passport will only be required if you appear to be under the age of 21 or choose to join the loyalty scheme.
