Gaming Floor
Grosvenor Casino Swansea is one of the oldest in the chain, located on the High Street and still sporting the old blue signage outside. As you might expect from an older casino the inside is looking rather dated, especially when compared with some of Grosvenor’s G venues across the UK.
Still, the friendly staff and great atmosphere always make visitors feel welcome, and most importantly there are plenty of live table games, poker and slots to keep you occupied.
Table games offered include American Roulette (5 tables with a minimum stake of 50p and a maximum of £200), Blackjack (4 tables which include the Ace King progressive side bet (£2- £1000) and a single table of Three Card Poker (£3 – £200).
One thing that is kept up to date inside the casino is their selection of slots. You will find all of the latest machines here including Super V+ Gaminators, IGT multi-game terminals and of course the Fort Knox progressive. Gamblers can also take a seat at one of 24 electronic roulette stations and play from as little as 10p a spin against the auto-wheel or one of the live dealers.
Poker
If poker is more your thing you will be pleased to hear that Grosvenor Casino Swansea hosts a variety of tournaments and cash games every night of the week.
Cash games start at 50p-£1, with £1-£1 and £2-£2 Hold’em games running regularly too. The casino also features the Bad Beat progressive Jackpot which starts at a guaranteed £10,000.
For all card room details feel free to visit their dedicated Grosvenor Swansea poker Facebook page or get live information on tournaments and Cash games by downloading the Poker Live App.
Bar & Restaurant
The bar and restaurant are located on the right-hand side of the casino just off of the gaming floor. The bar serves all the liquid refreshment you could ask for including some fantastic cocktails. They also have a good range of snacks and light meals here too.
If you’re in the mood for a proper sit-down meal you should take a seat in the restaurant. The Grosvenor Grill menu offers something for everyone, from soups, salads, burgers, and noodles to signature dishes from their signature grill range including the 7 oz fillet steak. They also have a selection of tasty desserts to end your meal.
Promotions, Events & Entertainment
Sporting events are broadcast on the HD screen at the bar so you can keep up to date with the latest score whilst enjoying a drink. The action is also projected onto a big screen in the lounge area which can be seen from around the gaming floor, so you can keep tabs on the action whilst gambling too!
Grosvenor Casino Swansea still hosts Show and Dine events every so often, plus they celebrate all of the big occasions such as New Years, Valentines, Mothers Day and Halloween, but live entertainment is no longer a regular occurrence. To find out when the next event is on feel free to check out their official website or the events tab on their Facebook page.
If you are celebrating a special occasion or just fancy the ultimate casino experience you should check out their package deals. The Straight Flush package costs just £15 per person and includes a drink, bar meal, gaming tuition and a free £5 gaming chip providing great value for money. Other packages include The Royal Flush and The Full House. To book your package or to find out more simply get in contact with the friendly team using the details above.
Don’t forget to collect Play Points when you gamble on live tables or electronic machines, or whenever you purchase any food and drink. Collected points can then be redeemed against meals in the bar or restaurant, spent on drinks, or exchanged for gaming chips.
Parking & Transport
The casino is situated in the heart of Swansea on the High Street and is easily accessible by car, bus or train.
Drivers will be able to park at the NCP multi-story behind the casino on Orchard Street.
Bus routes including the Metro 4, X50, X51, 16, 17, 24, 25, 54 and 111 stop just outside the main entrance whilst Abertawe train station is less than a 5 minute walk away.

Summary
Grosvenor Casino Swansea is now the only casino in the town, and whilst is an old site and certainly a far cry from some of the more modern venues around it still serves its primary purpose well.
Inside you will find a balanced mix of table games and slots, as well as a poker room that offers daily tournaments and cash games, so the venue should appeal to all types of players. In addition, they have a bar and restaurant so you can also enjoy a drink or a tasty meal during your visit.
