Castle Hill Casino Dudley is operated by Casino 36 who also run a super casino in Wolverhampton along with a smaller casino in Stockport. The gaming floor is a little larger than you would expect from looking at it from the outside, however, in the grand scheme of things it is still a relatively small venue.

They have a very strong poker offering, plus there are 8 tables that offer American Roulette, Blackjack and 3 Card Poker for fairly low stakes. If you prefer electronic games there are a selection of £15,000 progressive jackpot slots to play on alongside touch bet roulette machines that accept bets from as little as 10p.

If you fancy something a little different they also have Mah Jong as well as 2 pool tables that are available to play on too.

Many of the members here consider the venue to be more of a club than a casino, and as a result, there is a great social element. The staff are friendly and enjoy a little banter with the members, and everyone tends to give a warm welcome to newcomers.

Whilst it might not be a big 5-star environment full of glitz and glamour, it is still a great place where you will be able to spend a few hours and have a great time.

Poker

Anybody who is looking for a friendly game of poker should head to the 80 Castle Hill Casino card room. Here they host a range of regular poker tournaments as well as daily cash games of Texas Hold’em for up to 80 players. The usual start time is 8 pm.

Parking & Transport

Dudley Hill Casino is only a 5 to 10-minute walk from the town centre and Churchill Shopping Centre so you might not even need transport to get there.

If you drive they have a free car park. ABC Taxis are right next door which is handy if you fancy a drink. and the busy bus stop that serves most of the routes in town is just a few feet from the entrance.

Dress Code, Membership & ID

The dress code is quite relaxed, smart-casual is more than acceptable. You will be able to sign up for a free membership at reception which will only take a few minutes but don’t forget to bring a valid photo ID.

What’s Nearby?

Dudley Zoological Gardens which is home to more than 1,300 animals is located practically opposite. Also close by is Castle Gate Park which is home to a number of restaurants such as Frankie and Benny’s, Nando’s, Chiquito and Pizza Hut.

Entertainment options include bowling at Tenpin Dudley or watching a film at Showcase Cinemas.
