Grosvenor Casino Huddersfield is certainly not one of the newest or most glamorous venues in the chain, but that does not stop customers from consistently leaving great feedback on their Facebook page.

The usual live games are on offer in the centre of the square room which consists of 5 American Roulette Tables with a minimum stake of 50p and a maximum of £200, 4 Blackjack tables (£2 – £1000), and a single table of Three Card Poker (£2 – £200).

Poker tables fill up the left-hand side of the room whilst the electronic machines occupy the slightly raised area on the right-hand side that overlooks the main floor.

Electronic Roulette can be played on one of 18 terminals from as little as 10p per spin whilst slot fans can test their luck on a mixture of IGT multi-game and Novamatic Super V+ Gaminator machines. They also have 4 slots that offer a chance at the progressive Fort Knox jackpot.

An unusual feature at Grosvenor Huddersfield is the “Hot Slots” board which shows how much each of the 20 slot machines paid out the previous week. At the time of our visit the highest payout from a single machine the previous week was £28,949, with 11 other machines in the £10,000 – £27,000 range so there is plenty to be won here!

Poker

Poker at Grosvenor Casino Huddersfield is available 7 days a week. There are 8 tables in total however, they do not have a dedicated card room so it can get a little a noisy.

Poker tournaments tend to start at 8 pm Tuesday – Saturday and from 8 pm on Sunday. £40 No-Limit Hold’em cash games are available to play throughout the day.

Bar & Restaurant

The restaurant offers quality cuisine from their partnership with Absurd Bird, Field & Fin, Barrel & Stone and Holy Cow. These dishes include a choice of steaks from the signature grill range along with a few curries and vegetarian dishes, plus they have a number of tasty treats to end your meal too.

As the dining room only has 9 tables we strongly advise making a booking in advance if you wish to dine in the restaurant. Reservations can be made either online via the official website or by calling the number listed above.

If the restaurant is full or if you just fancy some lighter bites or a quick meal then you can make an order from the smaller bar menu which includes sandwiches, lasagna and chicken tikka masala.

Promotions, Events & Entertainment

Show and Dine events take place at the beginning of each month at Grosvenor Casino Huddersfield. For just £25 per person, you will enjoy a 3-course meal, a £5 gaming chip, a free drink and live entertainment. All upcoming appearances are listed on their Facebook page.

They also like to celebrate the big occasions throughout the year and hold parties at Christmas and New Years, plus they host special dining events for special occasions such as Valentines Day.

Sports fans can arent left out either with all of the biggest games and events on Sky Sports and Sky Box Office shown on the HD screens in the lounge area.

Other promotions available at the time of writing include;

• Weekday Deals – Between 6 pm – 10 pm Monday to Friday you can enjoy some fantastic offers on gaming, food and drink.
• Restaurant Loyalty Card – Dine in the restaurant between Sunday and Thursday to receive a stamp. Collect 6 stamps and receive a free 2-course meal.
• Full House Experience – Enjoy arrival drinks, a 3-course meal, a £5 gaming chip and a £5 slot ticket for £30 per person.

Parking & Transport

The casino is located just outside the main ring road which makes it easy to reach via car or public transport.

Free parking is available for all customers and the 333 Free town bus stops directly outside. A larger choice of bus services including the 310, 315, 321, X4 and X7 run from Lockwood Road which is just around the corner.

Dress Code, Membership & ID

The dress code at Grosvenor Casino Huddersfield is smart casual. You must be a member in order to enjoy the facilities. If it is your first visit remember to bring photo ID such as a passport or a driving license with you, then upon arrival just speak to the staff at reception who will process your free membership in just a couple of minutes.
