Do not head to Grosvenor Casino Scarborough expecting a fully blown casino, instead, picture a stylish arcade that offers a selection of 20 slot machines, 10 electronic roulette terminals and 3 poker tables.

Jackpots vary from £500 on the older machines, up to £10,000 on the modern Super V+ Gaminator and IGT multi-game terminals. Slot titles you can enjoy here include Lord of the Ocean, Rich Witch, Gryphon’s Gold, Arabian Charms, Cats, Golden Goddess and Pharaoh’s Fortune.

Unusually for an e-casino they also have a small poker room consisting of three tables (more details below). Unfortunately, there are no other live tables here so you will be unable to play classic games such as Blackjack, American Roulette or Three Card Poker.

Poker

Texas Hold’em cash games can be played in the small private poker room which is located up a small flight of stairs the back right of the casino (a disabled lift is also available).

Regular games are no longer offered however, you can easily arrange a private game with friends. They have two packages available, the first option is Self Dealt which costs just £1 per person for the night.

Alternatively, you can opt for the Poker Party Package which costs £10 per person and includes a dealer for the night, as well a drink, bar meal and a £5 voucher to use on any of the machines.

Bar & Lounge

The venue has a small bar that offers a selection of beers, ciders, wine, soft drinks. You can also purchase snacks and light meals at the bar which can be enjoyed in the comfortable lounge area.

• Sports Experience Package – For just £5 you can enjoy your favourite sporting events with a bottle of beer, a panini and a bag of crisps. Not only that they also throw in a £5 voucher to use on any of the slots or roulette terminals.

Parking & Transport

There is no car park although you might get lucky and be able to park on the street directly outside.

The E-Casino is less than a ten-minute walk (half a mile) from Scarborough train station. The closest bus stop is just around the corner on Queens Street which serves routes 2, 5, 7, 10, 13, 14, 15, and 115.

Dress Code, Membership & ID

No hats or sportswear is allowed, otherwise, the dress code is quite relaxed. You do not need to register to play and anyone over the age of 18 is welcome. ID is only required if you look under 21.
