Gaming Floor

Napoleons Owlerton is much larger and in our opinion much more enjoyable to play in than any of their other venues around Yorkshire.

Inside it is your typical Napoleons site, dark wood-panelled walls, red carpets and low ceilings, however, thanks to the recent £2 million refurbishment, the gaming floor has been substantially increased in size and it no longer feels dark, dingy and cramped.

The main floor features the usual games including 5 tables of American Roulette with minimum stakes of 50p and maximums of £100. Their 3 tables of Blackjack offer stakes ranging from £2 up to £500 as well as the Blazing 7’s side bet. Three Card Poker is also played at one table with minimums of £2 and maximums of £100.

Gamblers that enjoy the more modern approach will find 24 Touchbet Roulette terminals with wagers as low as 20p. They also have 16 slots that feature £4000 – £10,000 jackpots along with a further 4 machines with jackpots of £500 that can be played from as little as 20p.

As part of the refurbishment, they also introduced an outdoor gaming terrace which is the first outside of London. This terrace provides the opportunity to play on the electronic machines whilst having a smoke.

Mahjong Tournaments take place 4x a week Sunday – Wednesday for an expected prize pool of £1000 each night. Prizes are awarded to the top 4 players, plus all entrants will receive a free £10 electronic gaming voucher.

Poker

The dedicated poker room hosts a variety of poker tournaments and cash games. Texas Hold’em cash games are played at 3 tables from 8 pm daily plus Dealers Choice games are also available for an additional table charge of £5 per hour.

Bar & Restaurant

As part of the recent £2m revamp, the restaurant, bar and lounge at Napoleons Casino Owlerton have all been increased in size.

The 60 seater restaurant offers a variety of contemporary, quality cuisines which are in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere overlooking the casino floor.

The restaurant is open daily from 6:30 pm until 10 pm and the menu which offers something new each month is available to view online. Prices start from £12 for mains, plus they also have a “Dine in Style” package for £25 which includes a 3-course meal, arrival drink and a £5 gaming chip. 

Light bites are also served daily at the bar from 5 pm and the late-night menu is available until 3 am for anyone that is still feeling peckish.

Promotions, Events & Entertainment

Napoleons Owlerton has plenty to offer in terms of promotions, events and entertainment which can further enhance your visit. As always these promotions are subject to change, but at the time of writing include:

Next door to the casino you will find Owlerton Greyhound Stadium which is owned by A&S Leisure (Napoleons parent company). Greyhound racing takes place every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday evening and they have a number of packages to suit all occasions. So why not combine some games at the casino with a few bets at the track and make it a perfect night out?!

Parking & Transport

Napoleons is located next door to Owlerton Stadium, just 2.5 miles North West of Sheffield City Centre. There is a huge car park opposite the main entrance which provides free parking for all visitors.

The closest bus stop is on Bradfield Road (A61) which is just a 5-minute walk from the casino. Routes that service the stop include the 7, 8, 86, 783 and H1.

Dress Code, Membership & ID

The dress code is smart casual. Membership is not required to enjoy the facilities, however, it is well worth signing up for free in order to enjoy the full range of promotions and offers.

Becoming a member is a quick and easy process, just bring a valid photo ID such as a driving license or passport with you on your first visit and speak to a member of staff at reception. You can also fill out the application form in advance online but you will still need to show your ID at the reception in order to complete the process.
