The medium sized casino Rainbow Casino was previously known as Gala Casino Aberdeen before being purchased in 2013 by the Double Diamond Group and becoming part of the Rainbow brand.
Inside gamblers can enjoy a range of traditional table games including American Roulette (50p – £100), Blackjack (£1 – £1000) and Three Card Poker (£2 – £100).
If you prefer a more modern approach you can try your luck at winning a £10,000 jackpot by spinning the reels on their state of the art slots. Machines include IGT Multi-game boxes and Super V+ Gaminators, the latter of which offers the Power Link Progressive!
Alternatively, take a seat at one of the Sabre electronic roulette terminals. These machines allow you to play a live game of roulette by simply placing bets by tapping on the screen – a lot less pressure than playing at the tables and ideal for newcomers.
Poker competitions take place twice a week at 9:30 pm. On Wednesday you can play No Limit Hold’em (NLHE) £25 + £2.50 with one optional re-buy. Sunday night poker is also NLHE, £30 +£3 with one optional re-buy.
Cash games are available from 9:30 pm every Friday and Saturday. Limits depend upon the players in attendance.
Bar & Restaurant
The restaurant combines a great service with a vast selection of meals that will suit even the fussiest of eaters. Dishes include chicken caesar salad, steak and ale pie, roast chicken, Katsu chicken curry, succulent Steaks and BBQ chicken melt.
If you just fancy a break from gaming why not purchase a refreshing drink at the warm and welcoming late bar. It is also the perfect place to socialise with friends, or even make new ones whilst watching the latest sporting action on the big screen.
Promotions, Events & Entertainment
Rainbow Casino Aberdeen features plenty of fantastic offers and promotions on food, drink and games as well as slots parties, complimentary buffets, and even prize draws where you can win free bets! The deals change frequently so it is best to check out their Facebook page to find out what promos are currently available.
Whilst becoming a member is not necessary to play or eat at the casino, it is worth signing up in order to take advantage of the numerous benefits. Upon registration, you will receive a welcome pack that contains vouchers to spend on the games and at the bar.
Additional goodies such as discounts at the restaurant will be available during future visits. Becoming a member only takes a few minutes. Just fill in the online registration form or speak to a member of the team when you arrive. Don’t forget to bring photographic ID with you on your first visit.
Parking & Transport
Chapel Street car park is open 24 hours and is just a 2-minute walk away from the casino.
You can also easily reach the venue by public transport, all of the major bus routes stop close by on Union Street and Aberdeen station is just half a mile away.
Dress Code, Membership & ID
The dress code is smart, casual and relaxed. Rainbow Casino Aberdeen does not require a membership and is free to enter, however, you must be over 18 to visit. ID must be carried if you appear to be under the age of 25 or plan on spending more than £1,200.
Promos and Events
Rainbow Casino Aberdeen has friendly staff, plenty of fantastic offers and a balanced mix of table games and slots. The only real let down is the limited poker offering, but all in all the venue is a fun place to play at.
Unfortunately for Rainbow, the two rival casino's in the area offer a far better overall experience, so if you are trying to decide which casino in Aberdeen you should visit we suggest either the 24 hourGrosvenor Casino Aberdeen or the unique Soul Casino.
