After walking past the reception at Grosvenor Casino Reading Central you will enter a large room dedicated to 12 electronic roulette terminals and 12 of the most up to date multi-game slot machines that offer fan favourites such as Rainbow Riches, Cleopatra and Book Of Ra.

Players will also be able to enjoy a drink whilst playing without having to leave the room as there is a bar right next to the roulette terminals.

The double doors and at the end of this room will take you to a flight of stairs which lead up to the live tables and the rest of the casino.

Whilst the gambling floor is physically smaller than at the neighbouring Grosvenor Casino Reading South, the tables are well laid out to maximise the space available, and the gaming itself is just as good.

Players are able to enjoy gaming at multiple tables of American Roulette, Blackjack, Three Card and Super Stud poker.

In addition, they have a further 8 slot machines and 12 electronic roulette tables dotted around the main floor.

Cash rake poker games are available on two tables from 7 pm until 5 am every day the week.

Bars, Restaurant & Entertainment

As mentioned previously there is a fully stocked bar in the electronic games area on the ground floor. On the main level, there is another bar that sells the usual extensive choice of beers, wines, and cocktails. They have a number of tables and chairs where you can socialise with friends or watch the live sporting action on the HD screens.

The small restaurant overlooks the main floor and offers a fantastic menu that features signature grills, salads, burgers and desserts. A set 2 or 3-course menu is also available Sunday – Thursday for £10.95 or £12.95 respectively.

Space is limited as they only have 9 tables in the dining room so it’s certainly worth making a booking in advance online if you are planning on a full sit down meal.

Parking & Transport

There is a large multi-story NCP car park next door. Be sure to bring your ticket to reception on your following visit to Grosvenor Reading Central Casino as the team will happily reimburse your parking fee.

Most major bus services stop just a short walk over the bridge of the River Kennet and Reading train station is just half a mile away.

The Oracle Shopping Mall is just the other side of the street and is packed with over 100 stores, restaurants, cafes, and bars that include Pandora, Cafe Rouge, and Yo! Shushi. There is also a Vue Cinema that shows all of the latest movies or if you prefer to be outdoors the Forbury Victorian Gardens is a quiet haven in the centre of town.
